Myrle found her transferable skills and a new job
Myrle has been a small business owner for most of her working life with her husband who had always been the face of the businesses, with Myrle’s primary role being in the background helping to develop the family business.
Myrle has spent the last 3 years caring for her husband until he passed away recently which has left Myrle as a Job Seeker looking for work. Myrle has struggled with her self-confidence as well as identifying her transferable skills that she developed from her past roles. Myrle was referred to the CTA program to assist her to build her digital skills as well as developing her job application skills.
Myrle applied for a role on SEEK with Possability after participating in the Industry Experience Talk with Possability during a CTA session. Myrle didn’t get the initial role that she applied for with Possability, but after further discussions with their team she was offered another role within the business
